‘Footprints’ Movement and Dance in Worship group is led by Debbie Tees (who along with her husband Alan are the Scottish Regional Co-ordinators for the Christian Dance Fellowship of Britain – visit: cdfb.org.uk). The aim of the group is to glorify God through the art of dance and to encourage people to dance and move as a personal and corporate expression of faith. Workshops on various forms of dance and movement have been offered including CaraMayan (movement meditations to scripture) plus contemporary and Israeli dance. Staves and flags workshops have also taken place. The Christmas Carol Service saw a number of SCF people involved in a ‘Light Dance’. There is space available at the front of the church for anyone who wishes to worship in this way.
