This morning the Band Of Brothers met once again in the upper room of Bridges to take our fill of calories and fellowship followed by a time of refuelling with the everlasting waters of God’s word.

Jim Robertson a retired Church Of Scotland Minister of 40 years spoke to us about how much the Lord meant to him and shared some of his experiences ministering with the Prison Fellowship.  He brought along with him some works of art and craft which he had taken pleasure in creating over the years and likened them to how we look at ourselves and how God looks at us.  One piece was a self portrait made as a montage using bits of scrap paper, flooring etc from home and a couple of pieces of wood turning.  Each started out looking like scrap but was moulded to something beautiful.  That is the work that God is doing in us.
